“Janet-Lynn held everyone’s attention

Be an Epic Failure
What comes to mind when I say this word? Many of you likely cringe a little. Maybe your neck tightens. Maybe your catapulted back to a moment when you felt lost in a sea of fear or sadness of your potential or accomplished failure. Today, I want to challenge your idea of failure.
Every time you try something you get closer to succeeding – the key to chasing your success is tenacity and patience. As you collect your failures you get so much closer to the sweet taste of success.
Are we really living our lives if we are bound by fear of failure?
Can we really experience our greatest level of success if we do not experience small failures along our own personal paths?
The difference between failing and being an EPIC Failure is the courage to keep going.
It’s all a choice.
Winston Churchill once said, “Success is not final. Failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts”.
What if you chose to become an EPIC Failure in your moments of not hitting the mark?
Being an Epic Failure means you flip the script on the story you tell about the value of failure.
My Million Dollar Soup
Your soup is your life, and it doesn’t matter how many ingredients you have. Rather, what matters is your belief in how you have what you need in life now. If you’ve ever made soup yourself, you know that all you need is a little bit of water, a couple of ingredients, and of course, time. Even when that soup seems like it’s ready, it can do a lot of things. It can boil over, it can continue to simmer, you can serve it cold, and then you can change the flavour of it.
Even against so many odds, it’s just a matter of deciding that you’re going to choose the right ingredients and then believe in yourself, no matter how many others tell you that you can’t. We are all preverbal chefs, responsible for making our best version of million-dollar soup. And once we do, we are then destined for the life of our dreams; one that we created one wonderful recipe at a time. Read on, and get ready for your own delicious million-dollar soup.
Zero to Fierce – Three Traits that Cultivate Fierceness…Resilience, Resourcefulness, and Realization
The great American Poet, Maya Angelou once wrote, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
I would add to this poignant insight that this agony also exists in bearing an unlived purpose inside of you as well.
I’m here today to share with you my story of going from zero to fierce and, in turn show how you you can do the same.
My favourite definition of the word fierce is “showing a heartfelt and powerful intensity.”
As we walk the path of our unfolding experiences as humans, we often find ourselves at low moments with our cup empty. And in these moments of desperation and longing, inside of our depression and anxiety we often forget that the cup is refillable. That our ability to be fierce resides in our ability to develop three key traits: resilience, resourcefulness, and realization of your purpose.
Today we will explore these three traits that will help you on your journey to enhance or rebuild your life so you can go from simply surviving to thriving.
I’m a woman with a mission… to help people create the life of their dreams by going beyond what they think is possible. I will share some anecdotes, offer practical life-tools, and sprinkle in a few true-life stories, which will help you to consider what it will take for you to take those next steps in your own life.
Living Impossibly means that you don’t take life for its face value. You see beyond the appearances, work with Universal Laws, and learn to walk in the flow of gratitude in all areas of your life.

“When I went to the Dufferin Women in Business Event you were the Keynote Speaker at, I left feeling speechless. When I met you the first time I saw this gorgeous business owner and I assumed you were just lucky or wealthy. To know that you worked your butt off and came from nothing makes me respect you even more. You are truly a role model and I really believe you can make a difference in so many women’s lives. I would love to see you speak at high schools or colleges so you can empower women. I really think you have found your calling!”

”I attended a fitness convention a few years ago and was underwhelmed by the various speakers. That was only until Janet-Lynn took the stage and singlehandedly turned the fading lights in the audience into alert and engaged bright lights. Janet-Lynn is very charismatic on stage and has a way of connecting with individuals in the audience that makes everyone feel like she is talking to them directly.
She is one of those speakers you look forward to seeing.”

I realized that surrounding oneself with people who share similar view points to mine doesn’t necessarily lead to growth, and now I truly see that life is all about growing. Janet-Lynn makes me look at things in new ways while helping me to adapt both my personality and lifestyle.”

I would not be where I am today without Janet-Lynn’s kind heart and determination. Thank you for being my mentor through my struggles and for being a role model to look up to.”
“I just wanted to thank Janet-Lynn for teaching me that perseverance is about falling down and choosing to get back up. My life has been filled with struggles and set backs to a point of wanting to give up. Janet-Lynn has helped me see a silver lining in both failure and success. Through her guidance and enthusiasm Janet-Lynn has shown me that if and when you set your mind to something, no matter how difficult, you can strive for and achieve success. Janet-Lynn has encouraged me to pursue my dreams, and that with hard work I can and will press on. There will always be set-backs. But Janet-Lynn has made me see that for every step back, I can choose and will persevere for two or three steps forward.”
